To mark Safer Internet Day on Tuesday, February 5th, ConnectSafely.org will host the official U.S. event, “Safer Internet Day 2019: Together for a better internet” in Seattle, Wash. The event will bring hundreds of Washington middle school and high school students and technology industry leaders for a discussion on internet safety and civility.
The event will feature Cameron Kasky, founder of March for Our Lives, Seattle Public Schools Superintendent Denise Juneau and a panel: “Youth & Tech Industry Issues in Perspective.” The panel, moderated by ConnectSafely CEO Larry Magid, features students and industry leaders from Google, Facebook and Microsoft tackling some of today’s toughest questions about technology, social media and living in a connected world.
