Allison Smartt is the Youth Outreach Partnerships and Special Events Manager at CreativeFuture, a non-profit arts coalition that advocates for artists’ rights and the value of creativity.

She is the owner of Smartt Productions, which specializes in the development and promotion of timely and engaging performances about social justice issues. The company’s rep includes nationally acclaimed solo-show, MOM BABY GOD and Hip-Hop theatre performance, Mixed-Race Mixtape. Like Allison, all artists involved with Smartt Productions are millennials. She believes in empowering young artists with the entrepreneurial skills and mentorship they need to succeed.

Allison is a theatre technician, designer and manager who has built her reputation at respected institutions like Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Barrington Stage Company and the Five College Dance Department. Her design for theatre and dance has been seen and heard at The Club at La MaMa, The Yard, Barrington Stage Company, Chester Theatre Company, and Arts in Odd Places Festival in NYC. She is a proud member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and is an alumna of Hampshire College, where she concentrated in Immersive, Design Driven Performance.
Committed to empowerment and anti-bullying, she is a regular volunteer with Girls Rock, a punk-rock empowerment camp for girls ages 8-16 and a clinic escort with LA For Choice.
